Infrastructure Bank Provides $6 Million In Financing For Westerly Road Improvement Work

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank has closed on a $6 million Municipal Road and Bridge Revolving Fund loan for the Town Westerly for the construction, renovation, rehabilitation, repair, improvement, and landscaping of town roads, sidewalks, and drainage facilities.

“Well maintained roads are essential for Rhode Island’s cities, towns, businesses, and residents and we are pleased to provide $6 million in low-cost financing to the Town of Westerly so they can improve and maintain this basic infrastructure,” said William Fazioli, Executive Director of Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank.

“Westerly is committed to investing in and improving our network of road infrastructure,” said Town Manager Shawn Lacey. “We want to thank the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank for working with us to obtain this $6 million Municipal Road and Bridge Revolving Fund loan for road work throughout our community.”
