RI Infrastructure Bank Issues First Public Market Green Bond

PROVIDENCE, RI – Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank announced the closing of its inaugural public-market Green Bond issuance for the Efficient Buildings Fund (EBF) program today. The Bank’s inaugural $18.3 million Efficient Buildings Fund Green Bond was given a top rating of “AA” by Standard and Poor’s (S&P). The Efficient Buildings Fund provides below-market interest rate loans to municipalities, school districts and quasi-state entities to invest in clean energy projects.

The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) and Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank (RIIB) will open the application period for Round 6 of the Efficient Buildings Fund on Monday October 15, 2018. 2nd Annual Infrastructure Summit Brings Together Public & Private Sectors to Tackle Infrastructure Needs

PROVIDENCE, RI – Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank hosted over 300 people at their 2nd annual Rhode Island Infrastructure Summit on September 17 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The event brought together government officials and professionals from a variety of disciplines for panel discussions on the State’s pressing infrastructure needs and challenges and connected them with innovative financing options available through the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank and other state agencies.

 

Providence Public Library Embarks on $1.6 Million in Energy Efficiency Renovations Through the Rhode Island C-PACE Program

Providence, RIRhode Island Infrastructure Bank (RIIB) announced today that the Providence Public Library (PPL) has received an investment of $1.6 million in financing from Greenworks Lending to fund comprehensive energy improvements to its historic building through the Bank’s Rhode Island C-PACE program.
